Who knows what you will find under the water?
David Molyneux and Marshall Norbal have been at it again in a new production of Lifeguards, the Musical. This was performed as a Work in Progress at the Riverside Studios under the Riverscribes scheme run by Nadine Gray on March 26th 2025.
Lifeguards worki ng at a holiday resort decide to go on strike. They’re not getting any extra pay for a reality show. When a kid ‘pops’ one in the pool, and they consequently don’t get paid for 24 hours, they try to emulate the Hollywood writers. A musical comedy about influence and influencers and the balance of power between workers and management.
